It's called the Stroop task. The left brain/right brain definition is not at all accurate, but truth is much more complicated. My department had an Applied Cognitive Aging psychology program, so I was a participant for many a Stroop task. Thanks for the clarification, Kletos. I took the test. Very interesting! It said that I have "a strong automatic preference for White People compared to Black People." Now I'm trying to interpret that data in light of my involvement in a multi-ethnic congregation. "Things that make you go...hmmm."
