Ah! As I anticipate flying to Phoenix, AZ this week, the perils of air travel pop into my head. Have you seen the TV show, Lost? 'Nough said!
What if you looked out the window of the plane and saw a situation like this one?

As a forinsically convinced Calvinist I would : 1) first, be alarmed, then 2) accept it by faith alone, followed by, 3) never ceasing prayer! The wonderful thing about predestination is after the initial shock, we can still operate by faith alone in Christ alone.
One never knows every contengency; there are many things to which we are not certain like safe flight, but there is one thing, John, you can be sure of... you can be sure that if you died tonight you will go to heaven...
